Premier League Transfers Most likely to happen this January

Player: - Karim Benzema

Clubs interested: - Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester united

The striker has been told that he can leave the Bernabeu if the right offer is made in January and the Spanish Giants hope to receive around £17m for the French striker.

Karim Benzema is a transfer target for Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal who are looking to strengthen their attack.

Arsene Wenger is keen to sign a new striker after the 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu.


Jose Mourinho also wants to land his former striker who has scored four goals in nine games this season.

Karim Benzema is also a transfer target for United boss David Moyes who has been told significant funds will be made available in January.

The French striker has scored four goals in nine games this season.



Player: - David Luiz

Club interested: - Barcelona

Barcelona still have Chelsea’s defender David Luiz on their transfer list.

It is believed that Barcelona will pay more than £30m for the Brazilian Defender in January.

Barcelona failed to sign Luiz in the summer, have made him a transfer priority and will try to sign the Defender for £35million as soon as the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.

The unsettled Brazilian Defender has played only 3 league games this season.

Player: - Leighton Baines

Clubs Interested: - Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea

Tottenham will go head to head with Manchester United for the signing of England Left back Leighton Baines in January.

Manchester United boss will be looking to sign his long term target in January, reports suggest United will offer Everton £15million plus Antonio Valencia for Baines who is under contract until 2015.

Chelsea are also amongst the clubs who have shown interest in Baines.

United boss David Moyes knows it’ll be a difficult task for him to sign the highly rated left back and if the negotiations fail Moyes is most likely to turn his attentions towards Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao or maybe Luke Shaw of Southampton.

Player: - Lars Bender

Club Interested: - Arsenal

Current premier League leaders have set their sights on yet another German international Lars Bender and are lining up an improved bid of £25million for the Midfielder in January.

Leverkusen turned down Arsenal’s £18million bid in the summer but Arsène Wenger will be looking to sign the 24-year-old Defensive Midfielder in January.

Player: - Ross Barkley

Club’s Interested: - Manchester United, Chelsea

Both United and Chelsea are set to go head to head with each other in order to sign the 19-year-old Midfielder.

United boss David Manager hopes to sign the talented Midfielder in January for £20m.

However, it won’t be an easy task for Moyes as Everton will definitely don’t want to lose another player to their old manager.

Barkley has made 18 appearances for Everton and is under contract until 2016.
